Position Details

Summary

The Mechanic is responsible to perform Maintenance and Repair of all Cargo Handling Equipment (CHE), Generator Sets, Trucks and Refrigeration Machinery (all referred as Equipment). Its function includes performing daily preventive maintenance inspection, minor and major repair for these Equipment based on set repair and maintenance criteria, processes and procedure and in most economical cost.

  • Conducts daily routine Pre-Trip Inspection (PTI) of Equipment prior to trip dispatch.
  • Schedules and Performs Periodic Preventive Maintenance
  • Troubleshooting of Equipment defects and conduct appropriate.
  • Ensure timely completion of any maintenance and repair activities.
  • Set-up, monitor and maintain Repair and Maintenance records for every Equipment
  • Prepares and submit parts and materials requisition needed for every Maintenance and Repair activity
  • Conducts daily Equipment Inventory
  • Quality inspection for any Maintenance and Repair activity awarded and done by 3rd Party Suppliers including invoice validation with reference to issued Purchase Orders and approved Repair Estimate
  • Ensure good warehouse practices are being followed by maintaining a neat, clean and organize at all times to ensure safety
  • Responsible for the management of the employees for semi /annual evaluation of all direct reports
  • Monitor fleet maintenance and utilization
  • Can be assigned as Reefer Truck driver

Job Qualifications

  • Educational attainment: Vocational Degree
  • Experience in Auto Mechanic
  • 6 months to 2 years Experience
