Summary

The IT Business Unit Project Manager serves as the point person of the business unit he/she is assigned to for all IT-related concerns that need IT assistance in improving the business unit’s overall efficiency and productivity with IT solutions as enablers.

The IT Business Unit Project Manager can also own a certain set of IT solutions that cater to one or more Business Units. In this case, the Business Unit Project Manager is the ultimate owner of the IT Solution Set owning and overseeing all activities for that solution which includes strategy definition, capability building, project planning and execution, metrics definition, and measurement.

The IT Business Unit Project Manager is, moreover, responsible for collaborating with the Central IT team that supports 2GO Group, Inc. business units’ operations, and in delivering the appropriate IT solutions that will foster the business unit’s overall operational excellence.

It is important that the candidate has vast experience in Project Management. Familiarity with Project-Related Risk and Issue Management, Change Management, Requirement Analysis. To be successful in this role, one must possess effective communication skills, negotiation skills, problem-solving, analytical thinking, customer focus mindset, and great presentation skills. Must have domain expertise on one or more of B2B / B2C Systems & Solutions, E-commerce Solutions, and Digital Marketing.

Job Qualifications

  • Graduate of BS Computer Science or BS Computer Engineering, or any related 4-year programming course.
  • With 2-3 years experience in IT Management
  • Working knowledge of established/known System Development Life Cycle methodologies.
  • Working knowledge of relational database management systems, Oracle, and/or MS SQL Server databases.
  • Able to transform agreed user requirements into a working system design that will be the basis in the development of the application system for the business units.
  • Able to identify and assess the impact of incorporating additional features/functionality into existing application systems for sounder decision-making on the part of the project team.
  • Working knowledge on application security and controls, including web-based related application controls and security.
  • Able to identify the cause and effect of a given problem, and provide solutions to resolve the concern
