Summary

The Accounts Executive is responsible for increasing revenue by generating sales from assigned new and existing segments, from pipeline to sales conversion, thru managing client relationships through day-to-day contact with the client, maximizing opportunities to up-sell and cross-sell, coordinating requirements to ensure clients receive superior customer service, and completing all related documentation requirements.

  • The successful candidate will maintain and develop potential accounts of the segment assigned (eg. Schools, Government Agencies, Associations, Religious Organizations, Travel Agencies, Recruitment Agencies, etc.). She/He will ensure coverage of at least 16-accounts per week within his/ her designated area of responsibility.
  • She/He will prepare and submit a Weekly Itinerary, Daily Sales Call & Production Reports.
  • Conducts ocular inspection/ familiarization tour to prospective accounts to promote goodwill and solicit business.
  • Prepares and submits proposal/ quotation letters to clients interested in booking for Onboard Program Immersion, Conference, Groups SailAway, etc., and checks completeness of information and accuracy of Passage/ Package Rates, Schedules, Amenities, and Terms/ Conditions.
  • It is also expected that the successful candidate will formalize the arrangements with a Contract to document rates, concessions and amenities granted and agreed upon with the client.
  • Closely coordinates and finalizes with concerned departments (Planning, Operations, Negrense, Passage Revenue Accounting) various requirements of the group.
  • She/He will guarantee the complete names/ age with room/ bunk assignments and other pertinent information prior to ticket issuance is properly endorsed to Groups Sales Specialist (Groups Ticketing) and reviews collectively pertinent information in the ticket before delivery.
  • She/He will certify that all charges for the particular trip/ function are properly collected and remitted to the Groups Sales Specialist (Groups Ticketing).
  • Make sure to extend assistance to the group during the voyage (whenever needed or particularly those with complicated requirements) to ensure the proper delivery of service. Regularly conducts a Post-Function Visit to gather feedback from the respective Group Leader/ Organizer and attends to clients’ complaints.

Job Qualifications

  • College (preferably a degree in Business, Sales, Marketing Management or equivalent training in business or sales management).
  • A good grasp of the selling function and how it relates to the entire business (minimum of one-year exposure to sales channels of Passage business).
  • With a valid Driver’s license and willing to travel.

Skills and Competencies Requirements

  • The ideal candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and can influence and negotiate with stakeholders and customers.
  • Has the ability to influence and delegate tasks.
  • Knows how to sell with good judgment and general management skills. Ideally with Business insight and understanding with exemptional scheduling and planning skills.
  • Computer literate and must be good in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
