Position Details

Summary

The Corporate Communication Manager will act and serve as secondary spokesperson for 2GO Group. He/She is responsible to develop the organization wide communication strategy aligned to the business strategy and to drive effective communication to both internal and external stakeholders.

  • Serve as secondary spokesperson for 2GO Group
  • Establish strong media relations to relevant media publications and personalities
  • Lead the work and performance of PR agency on retainer
  • Drive teamwork between coordinated teams to have consistency in delivery of communication
  • Conduct market research to identify opportunities for promotion and growth
  • Serve on issues management response teams, alongside government relations, corporate responsibility and other communication functions, to handle 2GO reputation and image
  • Provide media and communications training and support to leaders in designated areas
  • Supports HR and Corporate on internal communications
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • BA/BS in Marketing, Communication or similar relevant filed
  • At least 5 years work experience in Marketing Management

  • Develop strong discernment to advise leadership and effectively partner with marketing and sales teams
  • Experience in developing coordinated communications plans with good understanding of communications channels and content development for those channels
  • Media relations expertise, as well as crisis communications and issues management
